The Process

The world of currency exchange can be perplexing. But using a foreign exchange specialist shouldn’t be. From the first point of contact we have with you, to all transactions you make in the future, we’ll provide you with a bespoke and personable service that will guide you through tricky FX areas.

Here’s how it works

Registering with Privalgo

First things first, you’ll register an account with us. Easy to do, this entails entering in some details, uploading a form of personal ID, and setting up a two-step authentication for extra security.

You may not have done this step if you’ve been introduced to us by one of Privalgo’s partners. If this is the case, one of our Relationship Managers will send you the link to register and guide you through the process.

First contact

Once you have registered, we’ll arrange a phone call for you to speak with a Relationship Manager.

We will discuss your foreign exchange requirements. More specifically, the currencies you wish to convert and the timescales you are working with. We’ll also get to know a bit more about you and the reasons why you are using a foreign exchange specialist.

Setting up an Insight account

Once we’ve gauged your requirements, we will set you up on Insight, our client portal.

Here, you will be able to see all the currency rates that are available to you. Should you so wish, you can use Insight to make future transactions, taking advantage of our leading currency rates.

Making a transaction

Once we’ve verified your account, we will be able to receive and exchange funds on your behalf. You will be able to send funds to us and we will undertake the transaction. From there, you can instruct us to make further payments through Insight, our client portal.
