The heart and soul of Privalgo, Meg is our Office and Talent Manager. From Privalgo’s launch in 2018 when Meg joined us she has retained the youngest-member-of-the-team status. But on those young shoulders rests a professional who is an invaluable asset to Privalgo and the Queen of organised chaos.
Yourself in one line
I am a bubbly 21-year-old from Essex. I am an avid horse rider, cake baker and I love socialising (some would say a little too much!)
Your career to date
I started with Privalgo in November 2018 after deciding to leave one of the big banks. I saw Privalgo as an exciting new opportunity that would allow me to have a clear path for progression. I never looked back, finding a career where I have been encouraged and able to progress and in doing so have found a second family.
Your Role
I’m the Office Manager, organising everything relating to the office and the staff. I also support the Directors and assist the Talent Management function of the business. I’m well known for organising company events which are occasionally met with some – shall we say – cynicism.
Development and progress
I think I’ve come a long way since the early days of learning the ropes of organising diaries and the office environment. To be fair, the support from every member of the Privalgo team has been amazing and the management ensures we are fully trained in every aspect of our roles. The vibe is like a family that’s doing a seriously successful business.
Proudest moment
It just has to be when the whole team arrived at our Christmas party location and it wasn’t declared a shambles! The second proudest moment was all of the staff coming back to London in one piece after a two-hour coach journey (hats off to the driver).
What’s next at Privalgo
I hope to manage the Talent Management function and immerse myself in other areas of the company.
COVID and Lockdown
Thankfully, nothing to report. All fine working from home.
